Inspiration #3

My lack of posts is disgusting, I'm embarrassed, I can't even bring myself to type my excuses, I have literally been so busy at work and travelling for work and gym-ing it whenever I can squeeze it in between cleaning, working and sleeping. Welcome to the 3 tasks that dominate my life.

All the below pictures caught my eye on Pinterest so were repinned and now being shared here as they are inspirational to me, so maybe to you....

There is so much stuff I want to blog about, I have just looked through my old posts, some aren't great, especially the photos! I may do a revamp and start again.

Checks on checks on checks.

I have had this blog post drafted now for three weeks, last Saturday I started editing it before the gym, then realised the time and dashed to make my class on time. To my horor, the changes I had made hadn't saved. Since then I have been away with work and visited my friend in London for the weekend - which may I say was amazing, I didn't want to leave!

I really do want to start blogging more though, (I know I have said this before!) but I really do enjoy it and want it to become my hobby, may even tell a few people about it! Ha.

My friend has suggested taking myself away from the flat one evening a week or half a day at the weekend to a cafe (with wifi obvs), have a chai tea latte (my new fav thing) and start, complete and publish a blog post. So I think I am going to try this on Saturday or next week.

Ages ago, I fell in love with this two piece from topshop, but couldn't afford it, so for my birthday my older sisters bought it for me! Aren't they great?

The great things about co-ords are that they obv look amazing together, but you can get your money's worth as you can wear them separately! Since my night out, the co-ord has been worn together again and I have worn the items seperately - the trousers with my fluffly pink jumper and the top with my faithful Topshop Joni Jeans and bomber jacket that I purchased in the Topshop sale about 2 weeks ago! (I literally tie this demin shirt around my waist with everythang!)

Back to the birthday night out outfit, which is where this blog originated from - I decided to have a go at clashing patterns with my leopard print clutch. The shoes didn't look great, as I stupidly only packed one pair of heels and didn't try them with my outfit beforehand, so I had to roll the trousers to wear the heels! Opps, Kinda worked tho?

Two piece: Topshop
Clutch: Monki
Shoes: schuh
Armlet: ebay
Tatoo choker and bracelet: ebay
Rings: h&m and Topshop

A few cheeky drunk shots and selfies with the clique-

Not only does this outfit cover the two piece trend it also covers the 'gingham/ checks' trend for SS14. This was seen from the likes of Henry Holland, Margaret Howell, Meadham Kirchoff, Derkek Lam and Balmain.

Below are some of my favourites and probably what inspired me to like the Topshop Co-ord in the first place!

And where their inspiration came from...

I bit the bullet and wore it head to toe! How would you wear this trend?

Checkmate.

Quarter of a Century.

I turned 25 on Monday! How old is that.... I'm a total drama queen when it comes to birthdays! There's just so much I still need to do or should have done by now that I get a little bit down and panicky!

I have had such a lovely bday tho. The weekend is extremely blurry- sign of a good two nights (I KNOW! I never do two nights in a row!) or just a sign I can't handle my drink now I've hit 25! I know those of you that know me are thinking, she couldn't handle her drink before 25! Haha. I know, but now it's worse!

I got lots of lovely cards from my family and friends delivered to my flat which was great, i felt truely blessed! I wanted to come home for the week, but because there is so much on at work, it meant I couldn't. I am going back for a visit next week though. I can't wait!

My flat mates made a real effort and we had a night out on the Friday, I was baked two cakes and we had a flat tea on the Sunday! My amazing friend from London came up to visit, we doned our black attire, red lippy and hit the town!

I changed my hair for my bday too - I dyed it back to pink, but then washed it with a silver shampoo to give it this mixture of pink and lilac/ pastel colour!

Friday Night:

I know what you are thinking - those heels are small for Cesca! It was a Drum and Bass night so I thought my usual sized heels were a little inappropriate! But obv couldn't wear a flat on my birthday night out! I do love these shoes tho for their white cleated sole!

To finish the look and for warmth I threw on the trusty demin shirt and Varsity jacket.

Polo Tshirt Dress: Zara (my new favourite dress!)
Demin Shirt: Topshop (old)
Varisty Jacket: George 21 @ Asda (old)
Clutch Bag: Monki
Shoes: River Island through asos
Socks: asos (old)
Choker: ebay
Rings: Mixture - Topshop and h&m

Saturday Night:

I am totally dragging out my birthday celebrations, I had "Birthday Pancakes" last night! I am going to see Disclosure tonight! I wonder what else the week will hold!

Did you all have pancakes? Sweet or savory?

Zara Wishlist.

We all love Zara, they never fail us high street junkies!

I bought these white ripped boyfriend jeans in the sale for like £10 or something silly! I LOVE them. This was the first time I have worn them as the weather hasn't really permitted it. This day was freezing but the sun was shining and no rain was forecasted so I bit the bullet! I teamed them with a simple black vest top, my black fluffy cardi, and h&m jacket, with my roshes. I was going to wear my black ankle boots, but was going to be doing a fair bit of walking, so I'll save them for next time.

So, I went into Zara last weekend to see their new collection. There were many items I tried on and wanted to purchase but the bank balance is a little tight at the moment. Not the greatest of photos to follow-  especially as my mid-drift is out!

This jumper - no words to describe my love for it. Probably not the most practical of tops, and it would be one of those items I buy for the sake of owning it and not actually wearing it. Come on, you all have at least one of these items in your wardrobe?! (Usually shoes?) But this jumper - bang on for the 'sheer trend' (afterthought - thats going to be my next blog.)

Since starting this post I have been on the Zara wesbite - I know why do I do this to myself? But I work at a computer and have my lunch at my desk - only means one thing... online wishing/ dreaming!

Hurry up warmer weather - it is too cold to wear these and then they will be sold out by the time the sun is out!

Ugly but so right!

I'm not even going to post the clothes I saw online or else we will be here for even longer! Whats on your Zara Wishlist?
